How can I play .XBA files?
XBA files are used by all Timespace digital video recorders (DVRs) other than the X100 (see “How can I play .OBA files?” below). If you have been sent some footage and require PCPlayer then you should request this from the originator of the footage. Alternatively, Timespace can provide PCPlayer to law enforcement bodies with a legitimate need to view footage recorded on a Timespace DVR. Please contact Timespace Technical Support with your name and organisation details.

How can I upgrade the software on my Timespace DVR?
Timespace DVRs use proprietary embedded software in the form of .XOS files. Software updates are available from your Timespace equipment distributor/installer or by contacting Timespace Technical Support.
Updates via PCLink Suite – from PCLink V7.2 onwards, DVR software updates can be automatically downloaded within PCLink. Downloaded files can then be loaded onto the DVR. See the PCLink manual for further details.
Updates via LANLink – software for individual or multiple DVRs can be update via Timespace’s LANLink fleet management platform by creating an “XOS Update Job”. LANLink’s integral tooltips provide further information, or contact Timespace Technical Support.
